Terms of Service
The agreement between you and us.

This page is generated from the application's data-practices manifest. It describes what the software actually does, because the same manifest drives the code and is verified against it on every build.
1. Your account
You need an account to use Near Pace. Keep your password to yourself - you are responsible for what happens under your account. Give us an email address that reaches you, because that is how we would tell you about a security problem.
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
2. Your content
Your goals, tasks, habits and notes are yours. You keep every right you already had in them. You grant us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store your content, display it back to you, and - where you have enabled AI - send the specific parts described on the How we use AI page to our model provider so a suggestion can be generated.
That permission ends when you delete the content or your account. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell it.
3. AI features
Near Pace includes 5 AI-assisted features. They are optional, individually switchable, and off entirely if you say so.
AI output is generated automatically and can be wrong. It is a suggestion, never a decision. Nothing an AI feature produces changes your data on its own - you choose whether to accept it. Do not treat it as professional advice; for anything with real financial, legal, medical or employment consequences, consult a qualified person.
Fair use applies: AI requests are limited per account per day so one user cannot exhaust the capacity everyone shares.
4. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- break the law, or use Near Pace to help someone else do so;
- try to access another user's account or data;
- probe, scan or load-test the service without written permission;
- attempt to extract our prompts or misuse the AI features to generate harmful content;
- scrape or resell the service; or
- upload malware or content you have no right to upload.
If you find a security problem, please report it rather than exploiting it. Good-faith reports are welcome and we will not pursue you for them.
5. Availability
We aim to keep Near Pace running, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance happens, providers have outages, and AI features depend on a third party who can be unavailable independently of us. When AI is unavailable the rest of the app keeps working.
6. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. It takes effect immediately and erases your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Export your data first if you want to keep it - after deletion we cannot recover it.
We may suspend an account that is breaking these terms, and would tell you why unless doing so would be unlawful.
7. Liability
Near Pace is a planning tool. Decisions you make remain yours, and so do their consequences. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
8. Changes
These terms are versioned alongside the software. This is version 1.2.0, in effect from 2026-08-25. If we change something that materially affects you, we will tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use Near Pace after that means you accept the new version.
