How AI is used here

AI is optional in the real sense: switch it off and the app keeps working, including the weekly review, the score, trends and everything else.

Every AI feature has its own switch, and there is a master switch above them. While the master switch is off, nothing you have written can be sent to an AI provider under any circumstances - the check runs on our server, not in your browser.

Nothing is used to train anybody’s model.

You can see everything the AI has remembered about you, and delete any of it, on the AI memory page.

Questions

  • The sidebar says AI is not set up. What does that mean?

    It means this deployment has no AI provider configured, so the features are unavailable regardless of your settings. It is not something you switched off, and everything else works normally.

  • If I turn AI off, do I lose anything else?

    No. The weekly review, the score, trends, search, sharing and every other part of the app work identically.

  • Is my journal sent to the AI provider?

    Only if you have AI on, the journal reflection feature on, and you press the button on a specific entry. It is off by default and never runs on its own.

  • What is the daily limit for?

    Fair usage, enforced on our side. Your plan sets it, and you can see what you have used on the AI settings page.
